Turmeric Tonic Tea
There are no two ways about it – this recipe is going to knock your socks off, and not in the way I would suggest with our other recipes! With the strong lemon and ginger infusion it’s a strong brew – but then add the fennel seed, turmeric, and cayenne pepper and this tonic will clean house!
If you’re feeling a bit under the weather hits this one up.

- 500ml of water
- 1 lemon
- 2cm cube of ginger
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- pour your water into a pot on medium heat
- slice you lemon and ginger finely and add to pot
- next add your fennel, turmeric and cayenne pepper
- as the oils begin to release spoon in your coconut oil and honey
- bring to the boil.
