Turmeric Tonic Tea

There are no two ways about it – this recipe is going to knock your socks off, and not in the way I would suggest with our other recipes! With the strong lemon and ginger infusion it’s a strong brew – but then add the fennel seed, turmeric, and cayenne pepper and this tonic will clean house!

If you’re feeling a bit under the weather hits this one up.



  • 500ml of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 2cm cube of ginger
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp honey


  • pour your water into a pot on medium heat
  • slice you lemon and ginger finely and add to pot
  • next add your fennel, turmeric and cayenne pepper
  • as the oils begin to release spoon in your coconut oil and honey
  • bring to the boil.
