Fresh Ingredients, Crowd-Pleasing Menu
Over the weekend we were extremely honoured to curate the menu in the youtube VIP lounge at VIDCON Australia (#VIDCONAU).
VidCon is the world’s largest event for everyone who loves online video. From Youtube to Instagram, twitch and beyond.
The first VidCon was run in July 2010 by the Vlogbrothers, John and Hank Green and last year was the first the conference was held outside of the US – it’s was so awesome they decided to come back to Melbourne for a second time.
Guy put together a beautiful menu of fresh ingredients and some real crowd pleasers.
With spring newly minted we were keen to get some fresh flavours on the plates from the new season produce – but being down in Melbourne we were conscience to balance this some more winter warmers dish to combat the cold.
So the result was lots of great breakfasts, lunches, and horderves sending the crowd into gastronomic rapture.
So here is the menu from the Vidcon VIP lounge lunch as curated by Bondi Harvest!
The Poke Bowl
If you wanna be on the money you gotta have a Poke on the menu. This dish has seriously blown up over the last couple of years.
San Choy Bau
Fresh, crunchy, and gluten-free this is a really underused but super tasty lunch dish that won’t leave you with that uncomfortable feeling after the meal.
Risotto
You want to combine a winter warmer with a super charge in flavour – you can’t go past a Risotto.
