Healthy Chicken Stock Recipe

Our Healthy Chicken Stock Recipe is a must know for every food lover and cooking enthusiast. It’s the basis for so many different sauces and soups, cheep to make and delicious.

Chicken Stock
  • 1 chicken carcass
  • 1 brown onion chopped
  • 4 celery sticks chopped
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 3 bayleaves
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • 2 red chilis
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 peppercorn
  • 10 litres cold water
  1. Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover with cold water.

    Place over a high heat. Bring to the boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 2-4 hours.

    Ladle fat from surface of stock. Strain mixture. Bring to room temperature and then refrigerate

    Note: Chicken stock will last 5 days in the fridge or up to 4 months in the freezer.
